My late husband was a Kris Kristofferson look alike in more ways than one. More like a twin. So much he has been mistaken for Kris by fans. I have become a fan myself for this very reason. It was 1974 , Iheard Kris Kristofferson the first time , when I was 16 y.o. ( Help me make it .. , Loving here was easier .. ) I was so impressed . And from there on Kris Kristofferson is my hero till now . Its wonderful , that such a maen livs still on earth. His lyrics telling the trouth in a absolut poetry way. I first saw him life at his concert in Rättvik ( Dalarna , Svedeen , I think his grand-Grandpa
comes from Älvdalen / Dalarna ) . I would like to hugg him and would say thank you for his strong and good influence on me.

Hello Maggie, thanks for your commment. So sorry you missed Tampa last time, but you never know … Fans share vids and pics and reviews, I know it’s not the same, but sometimes fan posts can bridge the gap.
60s, huh? Wow. I’ve been a Kris fan since the 70s and can’t imagine a world without him in it. His music just “talks” like nothing and nobody else.
An interview from 2009, but about the early years was posted recently. If you listen to near the end, it might make you smile even though the subject is a sad one.
Kris’ fans are a little different- I’ve never met one yet who doesn’t have a …. something about them.
