Kris is many other things to many people, but he mostly refers to himself as a songwriter. He has often mentioned the sheer enjoyment he gets from hearing u0026amp; watching other artists interpret u0026amp; perform his songs.
Bobby Bear is one such performer. Bobby also does other things, but he enjoys singing, u0026amp; really enjoys singing Kristofferson songs u0026amp; he does it well. Like Kris, he avoided the drugs scene. There is, however, a touch of Jack Daniels u0026amp; cigarettes in his voice.

We recently had a party night in our Facebook Group. Members shared their favourite Kris covers, u0026amp; this turned me on to Bobby Bear. Other covers were posted too, but Bobby’s really stood out. Perhaps because I hadn’t heard him before? I have since listened a few times over, u0026amp; they just keep sounding better.
