Maybe I’ll listen
To a little Cash
Maybe some Kristofferson too
Singing their songs about what I’m going through
Maybe I’ll put on some Van
Maybe some Petty too
Singing about you don’t know how it feels,
But yeah Tom I do
Maybe I’ll listen to a love song
Maybe cry a tear or two
But no love songs
They remind me too much of you
Maybe I’ll just listen to whatever music is playing
And just let it carry me through
Listen to the songs
That describe what I am going through.
