Kris Kristofferson & some of his friends played a sold-out gig at the Basement East last night. They are there again tonight & tomorrow night & we …..Well, we aren’t.

Ben Haggard, the youngest son of country legend Merle Haggard, played in his father’s band The Strangers for many years. He has his own style, writes his own stuff & is keeping his father’s legacy alive. He joins Kris on stage, along with other talented musicians & it looks like they are all having a great time doing what they do best.

Mud Island is a long way from Nashville, but all is not lost.  We do have some pics from the night for you. What a shame we can’t hear them –  YET.  Maybe someday they’ll all bring their charm & magic to us in the UK.

Kris Kristofferson – UK 2018

Kris Kristofferson celebrates his birthday at Kenwood House in London this year. Have you booked your tickets yet? If you prefer a seated gig, he will be in Belfast Waterfront Auditorium on the 26th – There again, the Republic of Ireland isn’t too far away either 🙂
