Kris Kristofferson & Ben Haggard with the Strangers
Kris Kristofferson & some of his friends played a sold-out gig at the Basement East last night. They are there again tonight & tomorrow night & we …..Well, we aren’t.
Kris Kristofferson, Ben Haggard
Ben Haggard, the youngest son of country legend Merle Haggard, played in his father’s band The Strangers for many years. He has his own style, writes his own stuff & is keeping his father’s legacy alive. He joins Kris on stage, along with other talented musicians & it looks like they are all having a great time doing what they do best.
Have you checked out……
Scott Joss ?

If not, then you are in for a treat. If you grab his cd here (from the UK) the site gets a small comm, but otherwise check him out on your favourite streaming plan.
Gig Snaps
Mud Island is a long way from Nashville, but all is not lost. We do have some pics from the night for you. The gracious Dale Houston has shared some of his snaps of the guys having a great time on stage. What a shame we can’t hear them – YET. Maybe someday they’ll all bring their charm & magic to us in the UK.
& there is more ….
Last night in Tunica Mississippi… Jerry Lee Lewis was watching in the wings… Boy was I nervous! Lol He was so cool and Kris dedicated a song to "The Killer". 🙂 pic.twitter.com/3qNIfTjbPg

Kris Kristofferson celebrates his birthday at Kenwood House in London this year. Have you booked your tickets yet? If you prefer a seated gig, he will be in Belfast Waterfront Auditorium on the 26th – There again, the Republic of Ireland isn’t too far away either 🙂
Pix by Dale Houston with kind permission.
The site gets a small comm if you buy gig tickets through the Ticketmaster link (no extra cost to you)
