F.M Kirby Centre for the Performing Arts, Wilkes-barre, PA, USA
Kris Kristofferson and the Kirby Center are great matches. They are both products of the 1930s, observed major world changes and survived their own renaming. That, and they are both icons.
Kris was on top form, backed by the Strangers – The full band featuring Ben Haggard, son the great Merle Haggard.
This gig was well supported. Joey guessed around 1600 of us. Fan reviews are always the best.
Brad Patton – The Truth in Whatever Disguise

Two Fans Were There Too
Kris seldom does autographs or meet and greets these days – understandably, he openly admits that sometimes a gig goes on way past his bedtime – Our spirited and resourceful fans, in the true spirit of things, made a plan. Anyways, they’d promised to bring the rest of something back …

Joey Lee Sinavge
Joey was at the Kris Kristofferson Kirby Center gig April 2019 too.
He snapped the featured pic for this post, and we use it here with his kind permission.
Joey had a wonderful time at this gig. We’d love to hear from more of you who shared the experience.
