Kris Kristofferson by Fans, for Fans

In appreciation of the Silver Tongued Devil

Kristofferson from Kentucky by Telegram 23 May 2017

Kris Kristofferson was talking about Pat Garrett u0026amp; Billy the Kid on Tuesday night, 23 May 2017. I wasn’t in the room, but news travels fast over the plains.

Unarmed outlaws, gentlemen some say, lived to tell about this event. HilljackRussell ( )  u0026amp; El Diablo Bocephus ( ) both of Twitter County heard Mr. Kristofferson himself voice an opinion.

They both testified that he truthfully said, speaking of the moving picture that was made way back in 1973,

“I’m real proud it’s stood the test of time”

Rumour has it that he might as well have been speaking about his old, scuffed, leather boots. The boots he wore on Tuesday night were allegedly the same pair that Billy died in back in 1973.*

An unknown bystander, quick on draw snapped this u0026amp; took it to the Sheriff’s office. Maybe he never realised the outlaws were unarmed? Perhaps he never heard tell about the amnesty? Either way, he discarded the print and we managed to get hold of it. Turns out it confirms the boys’ story. They were there.

Kris Kristofferson won the 27th BAFTA** Award for Most Promising Newcomer to Leading Film Roles in 1973 for his performance as Billy the Kid.

If you missed the post about the event, it’s here
