Information from Zimbio suggests that the footage in Skyline’s tweet is from a recording by Skyville Live from a show recorded on 7 April 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee. Their article includes a picture of musicians who performed or attended the show, namely:
Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley, Brandy Clark, Hillary Scott, Kelsey Mathews, Raul Malo, Amanda Shires and Jason Isbell who were photographed with Kris himself. I have no permission to use the pic, but you can see it via the article link .
Raul Malo made a name for himself with his band, the Mavericks until 2001 when he set off on his solo career. He indulged an obvious love for latin music u0026amp; good old jazz – Perhaps a passion inherited from his Cuban parents?
His 2007 album, After Hours saw a return to country music. This album features many well-loved country standards which Malo performs with his own unique style . He breathed new life into traditional songs like Welcome to my World, Crying Time, A Fool such as I and yes…. For the Good Times.
Malo sang The National Anthem at the Brickyard 400 NASCAR race in July of 2012, u0026amp; the Mavericks reformed in the same year. They went on to win the Americana Award for duo/group of the year in 2015.
I hope you enjoy the video of his performance of For the Good Times as much as I did. Kris and Lisa Kristofferson clearly had a relaxed and fun-filled evening.
