Johan Sjöstrand has been a Kris Kristofferson fan for many years. We love his Johnny Cash Painted guitar.
He was at the gig in Sweden this year. He shared his memories, pictures and videos with us here.
He is also a fan of country music, the old times greats and Johnny Cash. He may be a bigger Cash than Kristofferson fan – But so is Kris himself, so we will excuse this 🙂

How Johan became a Kris Kristofferson Fan
Emily had a great idea when she started asking fans just how they became aware of Kris Kristofferson, or that they liked the man. The answers have provided me with some great reads, and we are sharing them as time allows. In answer to the question, Johan says,
“When I was a kid, my Daddy played Help me Make it through the Night in the car – on cassette tape. I remember how I loved the song and the voice that came from Kris!”
Today, I unashamedly like to play country music albums. Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and the others. 
I have over 100 cds with the music of Johnny Cash, alone
I live in Sweden in Dalarna, Avesta.
I play alone and sometimes play music with friends. Today I am helping my girlfriend learn how to play the guitar. We are beginning with Please Don’t Tell Me (How the Story Ends 
) – A calm and nice song!
I play at parties and sometimes in private.
