Nashville disaster – two words I never thought I would ever see side by side.

Severe storms ravaged Nashville and caused havoc and heartbreak. The headlines just keep on coming, and the full impact is still unknown. Kris Kristofferson fans, like many people all over the world, are appalled as they try to process the impact.

Staring at photographs and videos does little to shatter the disbelief that this is happening.

Tears, Tributes, Thoughts & Times

Carol Says ..

A devastasting tornado hit East Nashville last night. Fatalities have been reported and extensive damage to buildings is being reported as the sun rises. The Basement East, where Kris and the Strangers played two years ago for three consecutive nights was ripped in half .

We cannot say anymore about the tragedy that is unfolding right through the area – It’s all far to raw. The picture of the venue tore me up, the sign saying I Believe in Nashville was the final straw.

It seems like just the other day that Kris Kristofferson and Scott Joss performed with Ben Haggard and the Strangers, at The Basement East 14-16 May 2018.

Lori Says ..

I postponed my transfer back to Oklahoma from Knoxville an extra month so I could still be in Tennessee to catch Kris Kristofferson and the Strangers as well as Ben and Noel Haggard at The Basement East in Nashville. Front Row to see this legend in a small bar in Nashville is an experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything. I know the City of Nashville and State of Tennessee will rebuild and recover from this devastating event. So many of my friends and music family had close calls last night. I am thankful they are all safe. My heart goes out to those who lost their lives. Homes and belongings can be replaced. Friends and loved ones cannot. Hug those you love a little tighter tonight. Tell them you love them. Life is fragile and can be taken away in the blink of an eye.

James Says ..

Thinking of NASHVILLE this morning after waking up to hear it was hit badly last night by yet another BIG tornado & 21+ are dead , many injured & major damage has occurred. I drove in the day after the last BAD one hit downtown & it was brutal. Lines down , windows out in many buildings , houses destroyed & debris everywhere !! Never had I seen anything like it. God be with those affected by this awful event.
